This site started as a photo album and journal of exploits whilst living in Toronto, Canada for three years with the aim of organising photos for personal reference.
As it has proved to be a useful reminder of good times, I will try to keep it going for a while longer even though now back in the UK.
I named this site after the friendly black squirrels that scurry about everywhere in Toronto and the surrounding area.
Click on the images below to see close ups of some of Toronto's black squirrels.
General trips are included but I have also tried to split out those accounts which more specifically relate to my main interests of Climbing & Walking, Paddling and Skiing.
All three of these pursuits can easily be combined so there are endless possibilities out there and therefore some overlap in the accounts herein.
